Deborah Appleby

Deborah has over twenty five years experience of leading sessions in Presentation Skills, Personal Impact, and Pitch Rehearsal as well as facilitating Management and Leadership Programmes.

Deborah is a qualified Executive Coach and is a member of the ICF. In this capacity she works regularly on a one to one basis with senior professionals.

Deborah’s real skills are her breadth of experience and expertise as well as her sensitivity and intuition in dealing with people.

 

Television and Theatre experience

Previous to her work in Development as a leader and coach, Deborah spent ten years in national, regional, and cable TV, both in front of the camera and as a researcher and producer. She has also worked extensively in theatre and radio and uses these techniques as part of her programme in presentation and public speaking skills.

Credits include: The Moving Finger (BBC Miss Marple series), Lyton’s Diary (ITV), Get Set (BBC), Knock Knock (BBC), Newsreader for HTV and a TV presenter for many local programmes. She has presented a huge number of children’s programmes, and created an under-fives programme for The Children’s Channel.

She gained her Equity card by performing theatre in prisons, where she also devised workshops using her acting training using improvisation, role-play, and team-building.
